Leading the AMR Conversation: Venus Remedies at India AMR Innovation Workshop
AMR Conference

Scientific progress, right partnerships and meaningful conversations can shape innovation into action. So, in our attempt to tackle AMR together, Venus Medicine Research Centre (VMRC) recently took part in the 2nd India AMR Innovation Workshop held in New Delhi, convened under the aegis of C-CAMP.

The workshop brought together a mix of government representatives, global health institutions, industry leaders, and innovators. The motive was to create an ecosystem to strengthen India’s response to antimicrobial resistance (AMR) through smarter collaboration and effective innovation.

Insights From Mr. Saransh Chaudhary

Mr. Saransh Chaudhary, CEO VMRC & Strategic Board Advisor cum President, Global Critical Care, Venus Remedies represented the organization on the panel discussion titled “Pathways for Deployment & Scale of AMR Innovations”. The conversation was not about early-stage discovery anymore, but about real-world implementation. It emphasized how to ensure that the solution reaches patients and healthcare systems at scale, where we can actually see results.

The participants discussed practical ways to bridge the gaps and tighten coordination for long-term sustainability. The effective deployment of solutions requires alignment between researchers, industry, healthcare providers, policymakers, and stakeholders.

Why This Matters?

India can tackle AMR with its scientific capability and innovation ecosystem. However, the real challenge is connecting and scaling these capabilities. Participating in platforms like IAIH allows us to both contribute and listen. It is a place where the future of AMR is taking a cleaner shape.

As a research-driven organization committed to critical-care antibiotics and responsible innovation, VMRC values platforms that foster dialogue across sectors. For us, it is not just about creating solutions, but ensuring those solutions are meaningful, accessible, and aligned with our global healthcare mission.

Moving Forward

As the AMR challenge is evolving, VMRC remains committed to collaborating for meaningful progress. Our next step is to make sure that the innovation goes beyond discussions. It should move forward towards people to create a lasting impact.
